Bring along your chosen Combat Patrol, some dice and a measure and enjoy 3+ games of 40k at its base and fun form.

The games will be played on three set missions throughout the day. Objective markers will be needed so if you've got em, bring em.

FAQs:

• Can I bring multiple Combat Patrols to play through the day?

Absolutely! Only one can be displayed for army voting though, so choose your favorite.

• Does it have to be painted?

Ideally, but painting isn't for everyone, and there's loads of you newly arrived or back in the hobby thanks to a certain popular video game. Your models will NOT have to be painted.

• Do I have to use the set loadout rules as per the rules/datasheets of Combat Patrol?

Yes, the rules for your Combat Patrol (CP) are locked in. But if your models are kitted out differently from how your box stipulates, so long as your opponent knows what they're using as per the CP datasheets, than don't worry about it.

• Can I use a Combat Patrol that's no longer for sale or has been replaced?

Yes. So long as you can find and provide the rules for your games/opponents for the day, that's fine.

• I've never played 40k before. Is this going to be a rough time for me?

No way! This event is the perfect time for you to learn the game. The emphasis is on fun, fast games, using the base rules as the core book intends, without the need for erratas, faqs or competitive formats. It is a game of two players, as long as you ensure your opponent is enjoying their time playing you, everyone wins!
